Chiropractor North York
A lot of patients come in regarding a stiff or sore neck. Generally, it's nothing to be worried about, but if the problem persists, seeking out the potential cause of your subluxation may be worth looking at.
Although there are many different ways we can get a subluxation, stress is a common cause to blame. Our neck also called the cervical spine is packed with small bones (vertebrae), nerves, blood vessels, discs, muscles, ligaments, connective tissue, and many other structures. It begins at the base of the skull and balances your head allowing it to move in nearly every direction without damaging its vital occupants.
It's important to keep in mind the many potential conditions causing your subluxation. Although stress may seem to be the culprit of your neck pain, it is bringing out the symptoms of an underlying problem. Stress also changes our perception of pain, causing us to feel worst. As stress heightens, we definitely see more of our patients suffering from neck pain.
